Nuri, Amir (1942-)
Announcer on the Golha-yi taza programmes between 1972-1978. His fame after the 1979 revolution hailed from his particular style of declamation of Hafiz’s poetry, cassettes of which were released by Surush Publications (affiliated with Iran’s Radio and Television) in Tehran in which he was accompanied by various instrumentalist and vocalists from the Golha programmes.
