Hisabi Natanzi

Hisabi Natanzi, Mirza Sulayman, Sulayman (fl. 16th century), a poet and musician from the nobility of Natanz, residing in Isfahan. For a while, he was a companion of Muhammad Qasim Mustawfi, a notable at the Safavid Shah Tahmasb’s court in Qazwin. He was a scholar and artist of a mystical bent, well-versed in Music, whose lyrics and other compositions were proverbial. His ghazals are masterly and elegant. He composed a qit’a in elegy of Shah Tahmasb.
